Cold Case is an American police procedural television series revolving around a fictionalized Philadelphia Police Department division in Pennsylvania that specializes in investigating cold cases. Each episode of Cold Case follows a formula that begins with a flashback scene that establishes the year — sometimes the actual date — in which the crime took place, as well as a set of characters in a seemingly mundane situation. These flashbacks feature a different style of direction, whether it be the colors, lighting, shading, or camera angles. Flashbacks often match a style from that era, such as a black-and-white flashback depicting the 1950s. The next scene shows the corpse of the victim–usually one of those introduced earlier–as it was discovered at time or sometime later after having first been declared missing. With some exceptions however there is no corpse but indications of a violent act in which the victim is missing without any trace. The show then flashes to the present day, with the detectives of the homicide division of the Philadelphia police department prompted to reinvestigate an old case gone cold following, for example, a revelation of new evidence, discovery of the victim’s physical remains, or a witness who has decided to come forward. The detectives then give the cold case a new look and begin researching the victim and interviewing their friends, acquaintances, and family.

Cold Case stars Kathryn Morris (Minority Report, Mindhunters) as Lilly Rush, the lone female detective in the Philadelphia homicide squad who finds her calling when she’s assigned to “cold cases” — crimes that have never been solved.

Ive always been passionated with everything related to war (dont ask why), specially World Wars. My all time favorite movies would be Saving Private Ryan and Downfall, two pure masterpieces. Besides Tom Hanks is one of my all time favorite actor. So when Hanks and Spielberg join to make a mini series about World War 2, Im in. I cant believe Ive missed that for so long. Finally got to see it and Im fully satisfied.

The pilot was pretty boring but when things took off, it was great. Its very realistic but we can easily get lost in the plot as it can get very ambigous. Theres some memorable moments but 3 of them striked me the most:

1. Bastogne

Limited ammos, short of food, literally no medical supplies , surrounded and all this in terrible weather conditions..they still stood up and survived…thats courage.

Boston Legal Seasons 1- 5 DVD Boxset

Boston Legal is an American legal drama-comedy (dramedy) created by David E. Kelley, which originally ran on ABC from October 3, 2004 to December 8, 2008. A spin-off of the long-running series The Practice, Boston Legal followed the personal and professional exploits of a group of attorneys working at the law firm of Crane, Poole & Schmidt. Boston Legal had regularly been a top 20 program on ABC and drew one of the most affluent audiences in television.
Before the show’s premiere, it had a working title of Fleet Street, an allusion to the real street in Boston where the fictitious Crane, Poole & Schmidt had its offices. The working title was later modified to The Practice: Fleet Street, but this title was dropped in favor of Boston Legal before the show premiered. The real building shown as the law office is located at 500 Boylston Street, 12 minutes away from Fleet Street.

The American producers of the series also hired British writer Sir John Mortimer (creator of the UK legal series Rumpole of the Bailey) as a consultant for Boston Legal.
