Great Gif for Your Parents – How I Met Your Mother

How i met your mother

How i met your mother

How I Met Your Mother is the Best Sitcom on TV.

This is a very funny show, with excellent writing. Come on already and let us at least see who their mother is. I am just like those two kids on the couch waiting and getting bored to death of the delay. Still a legendary show though. Suit UP!

This show just keeps getting better and better as the seasons go on. All the characters are great and the awesomeness that is Barney played by Neil Patrick Harris is just well awesome.

The cast of How I Met Your Mother does a perfect job of playing off one another, making the jokes and punch lines feel snappy and well-utilized. While many comedies run the risk of overdoing jokes, How I Met Your Mother does a fantastic job of balancing the joke surrounding an episode with all of the characters. By far, the best (and most hilarious) character in this show is the awe-(wait for it…)-some Barney Stinson with his unnamed corporate job, endless supply of suits, and constant bedding of various women. Barney is always up to something off-the-wall and funny, no matter what’s happening in the lives of the other characters.

When Will Be The Weeds Season 6 Face to The Audience?

Weeds the complete season

Showtime’s “Weeds” has been picked up for a sixth season, and a seventh is expected.

Weeds has a history of episodes leaking to the Internet. Creator Jenji Kohan has stated that she does not mind episodes being distributed on the internet in this way, saying, “Revenue aside, I don’t expect to get rich on Weeds. I’m excited it’s out there. Showtime is great, but it does have a limited audience.”

Weeds is an American comedy-drama television series created by Jenji Kohan, produced by Lionsgate Television for the Showtime network.

The show revolves around a newly widowed housewife (Mary-Louise Parker) from an affluent California suburb who becomes her neighborhood’s marijuana dealer to make ends meet. The title is a play on words, referring to both the slang term for marijuana and widow’s weeds. It also plays on the tendency of American suburbs to grow quickly and pervasively, with the dwellings and their residents being almost as indistinguishable as weeds. This is mirrored in the show’s theme song “Little Boxes” and opening credits, and is a recurring theme of the show. The theme song changes in the second season with a different version every week.

Weeds currently comprises five seasons that began airing in August 2005. It was the highest rated series for Showtime in its first year; its fourth-season premiere attracted 1.3 million viewers to Showtime, the channel’s highest-ever viewership; the season as a whole averaged 962,000 viewers. Showtime renewed the show on July 18, 2008 for two more seasons of thirteen episodes each. Season 5 premiered to 1.2 million viewers, with a rerun on the same night adding another 500,000 viewers for a cumulative 1.7 million.

Mary-Louise Parker won a Golden Globe for her performance on the show, and Jenji Kohan won a WGA award for her screenplay for the pilot episode. The show was nominated for a notable 19 Emmy Awards and 10 Golden Globes.

A version of this Wikipedia page served as the opening for episode 57 (season 5 show 7) “Where the Sidewalk Ends”.

The final episode of the show’s fifth season aired on August 31, 2009 and attracted 1.3 million viewers, up from last year’s numbers which averaged 1 million.

The sixth season will premiere in 2010, according to Showtime.

The Classic Series of Youth- Felicity

Felicity complete season

Felicity complete season

After the Christmas, such as the most hit drama “Grey’s Anatomy” have to release their last few sets. Besides looking forward to the writers return, or looking to old episodes have been snubbed by us. If you are Teen Series fans, and nostalgia, might as well see this and Dawson’s Creek, “said in the 1990s the classic series of youth” – Felicity.

The story of the series begins at Felicity’s high school graduation where she asks Ben Covington (played by Scott Speedman), a classmate whom she has a crush on, to sign her yearbook. Moved by his comment that he wished he had gotten to know her, she changes her education plans completely, deciding to follow Ben to New York rather than attend Stanford University for pre-med. Felicity’s overbearing parents, concerned about Felicity’s seemingly rash decision, come to New York to try to convince her to return home and’get back on track.’ Felicity has second thoughts about her decision, but soon realizes that she came, not only to follow Ben, but to find herself.

While Felicity works to sort out her emotions, she continues the basic motions of student life and moves into her dorm. There, she meets the resident advisor Noel Crane (Scott Foley). Eventually, romance ensues, and the relationships between Felicity, Ben, and Noel form the basic dramatic conflicts in the show throughout the series.

A number of other characters appear and play large roles in Felicity’s life. Her roommate for the first two years is Meghan Rotundi (Amanda Foreman), a goth Wiccan who occasionally “casts spells” on Felicity and others. Julie Emrick (Amy Jo Johnson) is one of Felicity’s best friends, as is Elena Tyler (Tangi Miller), who often takes classes with Felicity. Felicity also has male friends, including Sean Blumberg (Greg Grunberg), who is always trying to produce new off-kilter inventions, and Javier Quintata (Ian Gomez), who manages the coffee house Dean & DeLuca where Felicity works for most of her college career.

No stimulate as Gossip Girl, No Infighting of society, Instead slow lens and languageis. About each students will encounter problems, such as academic, love,  more amiable than Gossip Girl, more easily attract.

Weeds - The Complete Season 1-4 DVD Boxset

Weeds The Complete Season 1-4 DVD Boxset

Shows changing locales can be a mistake, and it took a few episodes for Weeds to find its footing with the change, just as the characters did. However, the gamble worked and the show finds a renewed energy that should provide the series a few more seasons at least.

Being in Canada means that we don’t get all the great TV shows that Americans get.  We usually will receive the feeds a few years after all the hype of a great show is already into it’s 3rd or 4th season.  That’s what makes DVD series so intriguing (especially for us Canadians), we can catch all the latest shows, and be just one season behind.  The other great thing about DVD sets is being able to watch the episodes on our own time – not dictated by what cable tells us. One such show that I have heard about is Weeds, which is in it’s 4 season (and still not in Canada). But Canadians, you too can now know what all the buzz is about, because it is out on a DVD and Blu-ray box set.

Since its debut, ”Weeds” has been nominated for 18 Emmy Awards and ten Golden Globes and won the Golden GlobeĀ® for Best Performance by An Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy – for Parker’s brilliant performance. The show has continued to garner enormous critical acclaim. At the start of its fifth season debut People Magazine exclaimed Weeds is a rare example of a show that has reinvented itself and actually come out better” The Chicago Sun-Times proclaimed it ”the funniest thing you’ll see all summer.” The San Francisco Chronicle hailed it ”dramatically challenging and risky.” Hilarious and subversive, ”Weeds” is the hit that put the herb in suburb!

Sex and the City 2 Coming Soon Again

December 11th, 2009 lindahuang No comments

Filming of the Sex and the City movie was completed early December 2007.

The film’s world premiere was in London’s Leicester Square in early May 2008. The film was released on May 28, 2008 in the U.K. and was released May 30, 2008 in the US with an unprecedented $55.7 million three-day gross. The debut made Sex and the City the top-opening R-rated romantic comedy of all time.

In November 2008, Cattrall confirmed that a second movie was in the works and is expected to begin filming in August 2009. It was confirmed in January 2009 that all four leading ladies had committed to a sequel and would be commanding higher salaries for the second film.

The second installment of the film had began filming on September 1, 2009, with Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth. On September 18, 2009, Kim Cattrall, who plays Samantha Jones, was pictured in a wedding dress speculating that her character might be getting married in the film.

Now, We heard the news :”Sex and the City 2” is currently set for release on May 28, 2010, nationwide.

The movie may be six months away, but producers have already released a sneak peak poster for “Sex & the City 2.” And – surprise! – it’s all about the outfit.

Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays the fashionable Carrie Bradshaw in the series, wears a $525 Halston Heritage dress, gold Mykita & Bernard Willhelm’s Franz Limited-Edition aviator sunglasses and a sparkly necklace by Solange Azagury-Patridge. As could be expected, she sports a pair of killer heels by Christian Louboutin that cost about $3,200, reports the U.K.’s Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, critics have noted that Parker’s likeness in the poster doesn’t match her looks in real life. In the image of the skinny star, she appears to have an enhanced top half and smoother, younger-looking skin, notes the Daily Mail.

Though there have been few details released about the plot of the second film, the cast was spotted shooting in Morocco in October. Kim Cattrall’s cougar character, Samantha, is thought to settle down a bit, as she’s been spotted wearing a wedding dress on set in NYC. Teen queen Miley Cyrus also makes a brief appearance alongside Cattrall – both of them wearing the same outfit.

The return of Jason Lewis, who played Samantha’s rare serious beau, Smith Jerrod, in the series, has also been confirmed. Both Miranda and Charlotte’s husbands, Steve Brady (played by David Eigenberg) and Harry Goldenblatt (Evan Handler) have also signed on for the sequel.

Another rumored plotline involves Carrie’s rocky marriage to Mr. Big, played by Chris Noth. According to Britain’s Daily Mail, Carrie and Big may adopt, since several British stars, including Victoria Beckham and Katie Price, have reportedly auditioned for the role of an English nanny.
