Planet earth 10 discs

Since i watched tv show Planet Earth on the BBC, I was looking forward to seeing this series broadcast on high definition here on tv today.

To my disappointment, instead of hearing the familiar voice, I hear some female voice reading through the narration.  Through the network, i have found out that Discovery Channel execs decided that they would change the narration for this program to Sigourney Weaver (yes, the actress who hasn’t worked since the last Aliens sequel) specifically for American audiences.

Easy to understand what he is talking about when the great narrator David Attenborough in the subject. He is passionate.

Thankfully I have my dvd collection of this program from www.dvds-boxset.com.
